Harriet and Charlotte Childress

Harriet and Charlotte have researched, written, and given presentations related to social and political hierarchies for more than four decades.

Charlotte and Harriet are retired from teaching at the college level for a combined fifty years. Collectively, they have earned eleven college degrees – one Ph.D., four master’s degrees, three bachelor’s degrees, and three associate degrees.

Charlotte and Harriet, identical twins, are active in their communities, having served on boards of public and historic parks, schools, and neighborhood and community organizations.

They enjoy camping, commuting by bicycle/walking/bus, organic gardening, cycling, swimming, traveling, reading, needlework, and being at home with their pets.
